An enlightened being is one who realizes they are part of a greater evolutionary creative impulse and chooses to participate in this evolutionary creative process consciously and actively. Thus, one is AWAKENED to the TRUTH! Evolve on purpose. Release yourself from self-imposed lack and limitation. Sat Nam. Love and Light! 180-
According to #HOLSTEE’s Mindful Matter, August is about #BRAVERY. As children, we have extravagant ideas of bravery…a super hero swooping through the city streets fighting crime…a fireman rushing into a burning building risking their life to save others. But as we grow, we become aware of the subtle bravery required to live life with authenticity, truth, joy, and freedom. Our heroes morph into the gentle likes of Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King, Mother Teresa, Nelson Mandela, Winston Churchill, Mahatma Gandhi, Galileo Galilei, Sir Isaac Newton, Nikola Tesla, Albert Einstein, our mothers, our fathers, our wives, our husbands, our children, our friends. For many of us bravery entails doing such mundane things as leaving our homes in the morning, facing the day with a smile and optimism, not taking other’s attacks personally, forgiving the past and releasing the future. So in the month of August, feel supported by all of us, by all of the LIGHT, to BE BRAVE – step out of your comfort zone, open your mind, and try something that scares you just for the experience, for the learning, without any expectations.

Love and Light! Sat Nam. 180-
There is a tiny SPARK of DIVINITY hidden deep within you! Somewhere in the silence and stillness of your heart, you know this is TRUE! If you are CURIOUS and only if you are curious…know that you have the power to make this spark within you grow! What for? Well, what is LIGHT good for? To shine and create! All you have to do is CHOOSE to make your spark grow. And once you’ve set this intent, you will teach your self how to do it because that is what the DIVINE SPARK deep within you is here to teach you. There are over 7 billion paths on Earth right now! All you have to do is choose yours and your spark will grow into a FLAME, that will grow into a camp FIRE, that will grow into a STAR, that will grow into a CONSTELLATION, that will grow into a SUN, that will grow into a SOLAR SYSTEM, that will grow into a GALAXY, that will grow into a UNIVERSE, that will grow into a COSMOS! All within your own HEART! A MILKY WAY of LOVE and LIGHT! But you have to choose to be the SPARK. Sat Nam. 180-
Let go of all past limitations, the ones you set for yourself as well as those set by others. If you have the feeling you would like to do something, then you simply CAN. Trust your intuition and follow your dreams and desires. Know that if you set your intent on achieving something, you will undoubtedly achieve it. Everyone who sits down in front of a piano for the first time will undoubtedly struggle to create harmony. But when you sit in front of a piano to practice day in and day out you will improve, gradually yes, but also surely. Be selfless and you will be unlimited. Don’t worry about not being great at something. Be sure to have fun and work hard for it is you who will reap the most benefit from your dedication to creation.
Set your intent. Trust yourself. Ask for help and receive it. Help is the gift of LOVE others joyfully share with you. Practice with passion and joy. Share the gifts you have received, they are yours now to gift others. This is what it means to be a conscious co-creator. Sat Nam. Love and Light! 180-
Rediscovery has been one of my favorite parts of the journey back to ONENESS. Recently, I was reminded to face my biggest fears with childlike excitement and curiosity. Those little things about yourself you are so scared to face – those little monsters under the bed is what you gave your power to! You cast off bits of you in order to please others. You sent so much of you so far away, you’ve actually forgotten your TRUE SELF! You are not little any more! You are not weak! You are not powerless! You are no longer any one’s victim! The little bits of yourself that scared you so much, those parts you’ve never been able to look at and admit they ARE you and you are them – they’re not scary any more! They are funny, cute, WHIMSICAL, adorable, and lovable! Because they are all you! And you’re just doing your very best to be the best you there ever was!
You denied the LIGHT that is you one bit at a time…until there was almost nothing left of you to shine at all!
Yes, I laugh loudly! I love to laugh! Sat Nam. Love and Light! 180-
The purpose of getting clear is to create space to allow life to be through you and as you. When you “get out of your own way,” through meditation and karma yoga, you receive all of the gifts nature is waiting to give you. As we grow, we fill ourselves with so much of the past – fear, anger, sadness, attack, defense. We come to depend on the past and our victim stories for a sense of identity. And little by little we begin to crowd life out. We fill ourselves with so much worry, stress and anxiety over the future, the NOW becomes only a mere stepping stone to getting there…constantly trying to get there, never wanting to be HERE and NOW, which is reality is the only time that has ever existed or will ever exist.
Sitting in silence and stillness you access the NOW, claim your Divine birthright of creation, and allow LIFE to flow through you, increasing the LIGHT you are able to hold, opening you up to unlimited opportunities and incredible synchronicity in the flow of perfect love. Take a deep conscious breath, inhale deeply and exhale gently noting that you are alive, you are here, you are now, you ARE LIFE and all you will ever need is within. Anything you can dream of is possible. Anything you can think you can achieve. Sat Nam. Love and Light. 180-
One of the most enjoyable and effective methods I’ve found to get clear, grounded, and balanced is doing an eleven-minute Har Tantra Kundalini meditation. You can listen to the Har Tantra for free here:https://simran-kaur-khalsa.bandcamp.com/album/tantric-har-har-haray-haree-wahe-guru. The original is track 2.
Sitting in comfortable meditation pose, criss-cross applesauce, on the ground, on the Har you raise both arms above your head in a soft arc that meets above your crown chakra. On the next Har, you lower them, keeping the same arc trajectory such that your elbows are tucked into your rib cage and your palms are facing up and are out to the sides of your body. My Light Sister Gabrielle Bernstein has shared wonderful videos showing this motion on YouTube. On the inhale we openly receive all of the grace and glory of LIFE and on the exhale we anchor these beautiful gifts deep within our heart and all around us, making the world a better place for all. Breath on purpose! Sat Nam. Love and Light. 180-
Wise men speak because they have something to say; fools because they have to say something. – Plato
You might not be aware, but we waste an incredible amount of energy engaged in very low-vibrational energy speech such as gossip, criticism, attack, defense, fear, worry, and negativity. Oftentimes, we don’t stop to THINK before we speak and thus we react unconsciously from a place of emotional victimhood as opposed to being able to RESPOND from a place of mental and emotional mastery. Sai Baba encourages us to think before we speak and ask ourselves if what we are planning to say is APPROPRIATE and NECESSARY. Will what you have to say IMPROVE UPON THE SILENCE?
When we speak less, from a place of truth, inspiration, and joy, when we do speak our words carry more weight and import because they carry more energy and a higher vibrational magnetism. Every fear-based thought, attack thought, worry or negativity pollutes your AURA, which is your own personal sphere of energy radiation – Our self-created atmosphere.
Charge your words today consciously with LOVE, JOY, PEACE, BLISS, and HEALTH. Make a conscious effort to inspire and uplift everyone you speak to today! Sat Nam. Love and Light. 180-
Each and every night, we fall asleep and die to the day behind us. We enter a restorative state in our deepest unconsciousness and awaken refreshed to face the day before us. It is this restorative state we seek to consciously realize through our meditation practice. During meditation we actively listen to the sound of our HEART, hiding the secret of life deep within us. Sitting in BLISS we realize we are not separate from nature, from everything that IS. There’s only ONE everything. With each in breath we inspire LOVE and LIFE. Each exhalation anchors the Light deep within us, allowing us to shine brighter and brighter. Each breath brings us more and more into the present moment and aligns us with the silent rhythm of the Cosmos. BLISS is the amazing understanding that your very breath, that which you now inhale and exhale, is the very substance of the Divine realized into form…not simply air…but consciousness…the desire of LIFE to be…through you and as you. Sit on purpose! Sat Nam. Love and Light! 180-
Borderline Personality Disorder
As an only child, I had to play by my self a lot.
One of my favorite games was Chinese checkers.
Of course, most of the time I had to play against my self.
I would start out being GREEN. The opponent me was RED.
But if RED started to win, I would quickly remind my self that in reality I was both GREEN AND RED not GREEN OR RED.
So, the part of me that wanted to win at all costs would readily choose who I really was in order to accomplish the sweet end goal of winning.
Mind you, I never cheated…there really was no point when I could choose who I wanted to be depending on any given situation.
The real GREEN me could summon the opponent RED me at will, whenever there was a zero-sum game of win or lose to be played. In the beginning, opponent RED me would go away when she was not needed. But little by little, she began to hang around my life for longer and longer periods of time. Her voice grew louder and louder. Opponent RED me literally grew more powerful within my head than real GREEN me was. Until the day, I don’t remember when, opponent RED me sort of decided to stay, period.
Somewhere along the line though, I got really confused…there were now two separate entities within me. One, opponent RED me, speaking loudly over the other…constantly arguing and growing more abusive. At times of distress or emotional upheaval, I could no longer discern which was my GREEN voice and which one was my make-belief opponent RED. RED’s voice grew louder and louder, more and more abusive and intolerant of mistakes or losses. And over time, the WINNER me sort of took over, drowning out the loser GREEN me we no longer needed.
I forgot there was another me, the original GREEN me who had actually invented the WINNER me to keep me company on lonely days…and this is the way I made my way through life, confused about who I really was for over 30 years.
I lived with a rabid tormentor within my head…constantly abusing me, berating me, putting me down, reminding me that I was all alone, that I was unloved and unlovable, that the world was against me, that the universe had turned its back on me, that I was odious and undeserving of anything good in this world. Constantly reminding me, never letting me forget not even for a second, that I was nothing without opponent RED…I was only a loser without the WINNER me.
These are the symptoms manifested by this disorder:
– Black and White thinking…difficulty accepting gray areas
– Impulsive and risky behavior, such as risky driving, unsafe sex, gambling sprees, or illegal drug use (Shopaholic)
– Awareness of destructive behavior, including self-injury, but sometimes feeling unable to change it
– Wide mood swings
– Short but intense episodes of anxiety or depression
– Inappropriate anger and antagonistic behavior, sometimes escalating into physical fights
– Difficulty controlling emotions or impulses
– Suicidal behavior
– Feeling misunderstood, neglected, alone, empty or hopeless
– Fear of being abandoned
– Feelings of self-hate and self-loathing
– Insecure sense of who you are
– Your self-image, self-identity or sense of self often rapidly changes (feel like a sieve)
– You may view yourself as evil or bad, and sometimes you may feel as if you don’t exist at all.
– An unstable self-image often leads to frequent changes in jobs, friendships, goals and values
– Relationships are usually in turmoil. You may idealize someone one moment and then abruptly and dramatically shift to fury and hate over perceived slights or even minor misunderstandings.
I hope my journey of healing will bring the Light and Love we all need to live our lives fully, in peace and joy, feeling absolutely adored. Sat Nam. Love and Light! 180-
